One highlight of every getaway is the chance to hear from a hand-picked author. Once we decide which author will meet with us on a given trip, we send our guests a copy of their selected book in the months leading up to our weekend escape. Towards the end of the trip, we meet with the writer to discuss the book we have read in common. We have compiled a list of past authors and their books on BookShop, a business dedicated to supporting independent bookstores.
